BT billing snafu... again! They owe me £40!
British Telecommunications have been at it again. They've been helping themselves to an extra £8 a month for the last five months. This is the second time they've pulled this trick. I can't believe I didn't catch it until now.
I've just had the fun and games of sifting through old bank statements and BT bills, then the joy that is navigating through a poorly designed phone menu. Good news is that I'm getting my money back. The guy on the phone even asked me if I wanted it back! Can you believe that? I said, 'What d'you reckon?'. Nah, just give it to Ian Livingstone - he needs it more than me (he's on £1m a year).
Anyone else on BT (or who've recently left) check your bills, it's good to balk! Thank God I've switched to Sky. The only good thing about BT is that they provide an 0800 number, but hey they can afford it when they help themselves so generously to the customer's cookie jar.
