EXCLUSIVE: Commodore's 'Eee-killer' won't use C90 tapes
Yet another EXCLUSIVE brought to you by moi!
As you may know, Commodore's subnotebook/mini laptot/mini laptop/UMPC UMMD 8010/F has been announced. This is Commodore's first foray into the laptop market. Not that much is known yet other than it won't come with a 'Datassette'. It is not yet known why Commodore have chosen to forgo this tried and tested stablemate to their hugely successful C64, Vic-20 and PET lines.
I guess they couldn't fit the advanced technology that make up the guts of the c2n inside the laptop. Shame as the AUTO STOP and counter worked a treat.
