Face recognition can be fooled with a photo
Over on Cnet's Crave I've been reading how face recognition ain't all that it's cracked up to be. Take a photo of the person's face that needs to be recognised and use photo-editing software to emphasise parts of the face and voila... computer tricked!
Maybe it's time to use not one, but two cameras in all such software? 3D photos are much harder to take after all.
