Google Latitude saves woman's purse!
I wish there were an embedded video for this, I really do. Anyway...
A young woman has her phone in her purse, purse gets stolen, thief drives off. Normally that would be that. Crime report filled, next to zero chance of seeing either the phone or purse again. Well as luck would have it, the lady happened to have Google Latitude running on her mobile.
Latitude, for those that don't know, allows you to trace friends/family who have it running. Allowing you to 'stalk' them. In her case, her 'stalker' was her sister. They were able to tell the police where the car was headed. Genius, no?
