HP as well? So they don't just make printers...

Actually, I know they make more than printers but you see the printers everywhere but rarely any of their other products these days!

Just noticed they've been visiting too.  What do they make in the UMPC/laptop area?  I can't remember and I've got way too many tabs open as it is without firing up another one!

I'd like to think these guys are taking on board what people like about products such as the Eee and, to a lesser extent (sorry Nokia) the N800s of the world)  I just want a cheap laptop/tablet that's easy to use, portable, practical, has at least enough power to see through a European flight, enough under the hood to play video and do Google Earth without falling over and great support/connectivity.  Oh yeah, and it needs to be realistically priced.  And you know what?  You build something good enough, charge a fair price, you're gonna get a lot of people wanting one!  The Eee isn't perfect and just look at the buzz that's created!  Make something better for a similar price point, make a shedload and you're laughing!*

*I have no business experience other than watching CNBC and reading The Economist, maybe I'm wrong! ;-)
