I went to four Twestivals and they were a mixed bag...
Let me start off by explaning what a Twestival is for someone that doesn't know and can't be bothered to Google (seriously, I'm with you on that one!)
You're probably aware what Twitter is by now (if you're not already familiar) and, I would imagine, you know what a festival is. Well a Twestival is a Twitter festival. Basically it's an excuse to socialise whilst making money for a good cause at the same time.
To me, I'll be honest, I'm not too fussed about the charity aspect. The chance to meet new, interesting, people and catch up with those I already know is the whole point to me. Simple as.
Anyway, I was going to type a lot more and add a bunch of pictures but I'm feeling a bit ill and my sleeping tablets are kicking in - so probably not the best idea.
My next post on Twestivals will detail which cities I went to, the cool people I met and the fun and games travelling from one city to another. Here's a teaser... (I look like that as I was tired from the night before).
