Last few days of Cold War Modern, recommended if you want to come in from the cold
The rather good Cold War exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum is coming to a close this week (on the 11th to be precise). If you're in or around London I wholeheartedly recommend it if, like me, the craziness, fear, paranoia and, rather conversely, hope of the era holds any interest. Even if it does not, there's so much quirkiness and interesting stuff to see, hear and learn that it may be worth a punt anyway.
And, if the Cold War, WWIII and the wackiness of the 60s, 70s and early 80s peek your interest you should definitely check out two completely related but completely different films, Testament and Good Bye Lenin!
