Memo to self: Be careful what I promise!

One of my neph-tendos* is here, sat next to me.  Just a short while ago I suggested we check out Club Nintendo's Stars Catalogue and see about spending some stars (they unfortunately run out now, that's a whole other post, suffice it to say it's a PITA!)  One slight hitch though... I can't log in.  I know both my username and password and they don't work.  Okay, not a problem - maybe I changed my password, I'll click on the 'forgot password' link and see what I get mailed.  As it turned out my password was what it always was but even copying and pasting didn't work.

Hmm.

Quick read through FAQs and the only thing that seems relevant is a question about new(er) Ts&Cs and if you hadn't agreed to them your account would've been deleted.  Well this can't have applied to me as I remember the site's overhaul and having to agree to the new terms.  And, in any case, my account still appears to be open (how else could they send me my password?)

Just fired off an email to support, but it's 7pm on a Saturday so that's it for now and, er, a couple of days. :o(
