Nokia Internet Radio - now more than a proof of concept!
The lack of a decent streaming audio/radio service on multimedia phones has always struck me as odd. So much has been made of streaming video and games, yet neither can really be done in the background (games certainly can't!)
I've wanted a decent radio app ever since I first got an unlimited data plan. I've tried most third-party ones and none have been ideal. I've tried my network's new service (just last week) and it was complete rubbish. The only one that's ever got close is Nokia's S60 Internet Radio and that was never really designed for the end-user.
I'm just about to give this new app a run for its money but am a bit dismayed to find there isn't support (currently) for the N73. I'm hoping I can get away with using a different phone's version and I'll report back...

just install the n91 version Ant, that's what i did for my n73. Its working great, so much so i've now uninstalled lcg jukebox.
Yeah, I installed it just after I posted and meant to do a mini-review yesterday. Funniliy enough I went for the N91 version too. For some reason I figured that would be the 'best fit'.
I agree, it works great. I had no idea Nokia had this up their sleeves and I talked to one of the guys behind S60 Internet Radio not even two months ago. He either had a good poker face or knew nothing about it either!
