Right to live, not to die.
I'm sure many of you would've read, heard or seen the news yesterday about Hannah Jones. If you haven't, go here. She was dubbed by the media yesterday as 'the right-to-die girl'. That irked me somewhat as what she has successfully achieved is the right to live.
I've got so much to say about this and just don't have the time today. I'm glad though that the Telegraph (check out my link above) had this to say:
She is not asking for the "right to die", as the misapprehension is, but for the right to live as she wants – at home with her parents and her siblings.
The stress caused by all this certainly wouldn't have helped her heart much. Shame on you, those that put her and her family through this. Hopefully the coverage will at least get her that trip to Disneyland that she wanted (she had the tickets but no one will insure her).
