Today I got an automated MMS from 3 informing me that Mobile Mail was ready for my consumption.  I clicked on a link therein contained and lo and behold Sony Ericsson phones are now supported.  Unfortunately the W595 that 3 made such a big deal about launching last week wasn't listed.  D'oh!  What's a push email-deprived guy to do?  Why, I just selected the first 'W' handset on the list and you know what?  It works!

As Salt, or Pepa, once said, 'Push it, push it real good'.

It's a less than an ideal solution, but it worked!

Oh how I'd like it to be working right now.  I'm tidying up my parent's garden and am expected my sister who is in HK to contact me.  We've already missed one email and a text message.

I hope 3 sort it out as when their Mobile Mail is working it's great.  But with these "issues" I've been encountering, it's kinda useless (an email program that works great some of the time isn't worth it, is it?)

They should've made it three weeks, sounds far more catchy.

Anyway the details are:

• You don't need an internet add-on
• You don't need an email add-on
• Use it for two weeks, then get charged

This is for 3 in the UK, and presumably 3 UK customers can have their email cake and eat it in other 3 countries (3 Like Home)
