The Eee PC 900 is now better value for money in the UK than it was when I bought mine little nearly two months ago. Seeing as it had only just come out then, am I annoyed? You betcha! Everyone expects prices of computers to continuously drop, but not that much, that quick!
The price drop is just the icing on the cake though. My Eee has a stuck pixel and that rubbish battery (buyers now are more likely to be aware of this). I won't even go into ASUS's treatment of their UK customers!
Oh well, it's still a nice little number and those extra inches really do make a difference.
I used to like Play.com - used them for years. Can't recall ever having a problem in the past. Sure, they were slow to ship on occasion, but nothing else.
Well all it takes is one problem and how it's dealt with to change one's view of a company. My view of Play.com has changed and it's now unlikely I'll order from them ever again. Won't be recommending them either. No chance.
- If a company sends out the completely wrong item and it's there fault, it's their fault, not mine!
- If they're an online shop, they should be contactable by email as well as by phone.
- I shouldn't be expected to go out of my way and return the wrong item if it's worth little to begin with
- If the item is more expensive I'm happy to return it but at least compensate me for the time, effort and inconvience you've put me through.
