Just a bunch of grabs from the Nokia launch videos...
From the above, it looks like Nokia are actively encouraging the young and hip* to blast out tunes from their mobiles. Hopefully the stereo speakers on the N79 are accompanied by a subwoofer (although I haven't spotted that in the specs or in any release) otherwise neither your friends nor strangers in the vicinity will be pleased.
I hope the above picture demonstrates that Nokia were using this in an area with bad reception and isn't indicative of iPhone 3G like reception issues!
What can the above guy's palm tell us about him and the handset he's holding? All I can pick up with my supernatural senses is that he holds a phone in a rather strange way. Kinda looks like he's other up to the gods. Really, is it that good?
The palm reading thing was my niece's idea. She sure is creative for 11!
What are they? Why they're gaming keys! About time too, if you ask me! Oh, and look - they kinda look like a face if you turn the phone the right way up...
Yeah, you thought you'd come here and get some insight did you? No, that only comes after I've had a play - or, at the very least, digested all the specs and watched any video half a dozen times!
Sometimes things seem obvious to me and sometimes I'm completely unaware of what everyone else thinks is obvious. Where am I going with this? All About Symbian (for those unfamiliar, they report about all things Symbian - think Nokia Nseries handsets etc) have posted about the fact you can use the multimedia keys on the N95 as handheld console-like gaming buttons whilst playing games. I never thought about blogging about my "discovery" of this as I just figured I'd stumbled upon the obvious!
Maybe there's a case for Nokia's N-Gage people to advertise this? Yes, the Nokia N95 DOES have gaming keys
