I've gone over this before, but here it is again...
My blog has become neglected, Twitter's now in favour. I think it's because I have a short attention spam, like to blurt things out as I think them and well, Twitter is a two-way medium - blogs (esepcially VOX ones) are not. I'm all about communicating - I like to talk to people, people!
I've tried to rectify this with a brand spanking new blog over at Posterous - but even that's fallen out of favour. I guess, as much as I like blogging for myself, it's nice to see who's visited and why - StatCounter gives me that on VOX, I've got nothing on Posterous.
Why choose one over the other though, right? They're quite different beasts, so I'm thinking they can run in tandem. What content gets to go on one and not the other though? Hmm...
Oh, and almost forgot, I still have a Wordpress blog! Only one post on it though, mind. The best thing about it is the brand spanking new, er, branding...
A certain English police force (I won't name them as they may not wish for me to do so) has taken an interest in some of what I myself uncovered about a person involved in a dodgy PRS* scheme. Had four hits from them yesterday and it was clear what and who they were interested in.
Was it just a member of staff that had been sent unsolicited 'adult' texts (at a whopping £1.50 a pop)? Or is it part of a proper bona fide investigation to the gentleman and the companies he has run? Hmmm.

HP's UK peeps quite like a bit of Catherine Tate it would seem - and the INQ1 phone...
Not bovvered indeed...
Is the above just a HP employee taking an interest in the INQ1 or are HP thinking about launching a similar phone?
I clearly haven't been blogging for nearly two weeks, and for a week before that hadn't blogged much either. Despite this, and despite the whole Christmas wind-down, my traffic hasn't really dropped all that much. Interestingly I'm getting hits from all sorts of weird and wonderful places I wouldn't normally be seeing.
That is all.
SEO for those not in the know stands for Search Engine Optimisation (using tricks to get to the top of search engine results pages).
Right, now that everyone is on the same page...
I've noticed a heck of a lot of visitors to my blog (especially of late) have been here for one thing... a picture of Google Maps in action on an Nokia E71. I didn't do anything deliberate to make this particular picture SEO-ed but look...
I'm above All About Symbian and other sites that make up around 240,000 related pages online. Even if you change the word order, I'm still near the top (but not at the top). Shame I don't get a penny from advertising!
It's always a worry when you see the likes of The Pentagon in one's web stats. You think to yourself, Christ, what did I write? Could something have been misconstrued? Could I be off to an all inclusive retreat in the Caribbean, all expenses paid? Fear not (this time) as they were only reading about Vuzix video eyewear. And look, they use Firefox 3!
They've been looking at my posts on the Hutchison Whampoa 'spin off' an awful lot (and aren't interested in the rest of my content!)
Thanks to Statcounter and my amazing analytical skill, I've come to the conclusion that Obama is a disaster in waiting...
FEMA are the Federal Emergency Management Agency for those that don't know. I believe they do a sterling job preventing and coping with disasters that happen in the States.
I was chatting with my sister earlier about the attention my ASDA/Wal-Mart post got (don't you just love StatCounter?) I had to ask her about her trip to Bentonville a few years back. Cryptically she said she'd never go back there but, when pressed, couldn't say why.
