Trouble sending texts on NYE? Next year try MMS instead!

The phone networks always have a bit of a problem on New Year's Eve. People are all sending text messages at the exact same time and because of this many messages don't get through for quite a while.

There's two ways to get around this problem:

Just call the person you're texting!
Send a picture message (MMS) instead!

You could also try sending an email if your phone supports that but that's only of any use if you know the person you're sending the message to has push email on their phone.
